My biggest complaint was/is that variable levels of difficulty trivialize the achievement of beating games. When it comes to sports and driving games though, you don't really "beat" them, you just play. There are objectives, but they're small. "Win this 15 minute game" or "win this three lap race."

I guess what I'm saying is that I don't play sports or racing games for the achievement of victory.
