I'm more interested in item scaling than enemy level scaling

Though in terms of the latter, I fully agree with you.
But does anyone know what the scaling will be like for items? Will there be scaling for items? And I don't mean the random loot that can be found in chests or boxes, or the stuff that scaled enemy bandits will wear, I mean if the important special items and artifacts will be scaled the way they were in Oblivion. For me, that ruined most of the fun of exploring the game world, since it felt like you had to wait to be past a certain level before you could explore, in order to get the proper versions of things.

At least PC players get mods to fix the terrible decisions like level scaling and bad UI. Oh well.

Or they could just design a game that includes dangers you can't overcome.

As long as it's clear that they're not supposed to be able to beat those things yet, anyway.

My issue is mostly with equipment and enemy types scaling, not so much actual level.

NV didn't have scaling. Try walking down the road with Cazadores once you leave Goodsprings. - 27/10/2011 02:27:40 PM
