But I can at least imagine just how poorly Final Fantasy 1 has aged. Chrono Trigger is about the extent of how far back with jrpgs I'll go. Maybe FFVI, since I've heard so many great things about it, but beyond that the unplayability barrier really starts to make itself known, at least for me.

The SNES was a good console though, from what I understand. Never had it myself, as I started with a Sega Genesis, and then jumped to a PS1 shortly thereafter, but thankfully there are PC emulators to fall back on.
