Didn't even know Microsoft had a board game unit. But it's an awesome game with beautiful figurines and design.

Also played a lot of Dominion lately and some Mage Knight but that game just swallows so much time.


I haven't really heard of any of those. Do they take much time to get into/understand? How many people is it best to play with?

Mage Knight takes at least 3 or 4 games of 4+ hours to really get the game. It's awesome but you really gotta be in the mood for that. And that's only my experience with two players so far.

Dominion works great for two to four players and people get into it really fast.

AoE is more fun the more players you have, but works with two as well. People usually need at least one full game to really understand what the best tactics are.
