I'm not sure what it will add to the already existing tale of Beren and Luthien but oh well, it's cheap enough.

I did pre-order it, though, out of curiosity, even though I suspect there will be more narrative seams showing than in The Children of Húrin, which had the benefit of most of it being rewritten later in his life.
