Well, then it's blasphemous and undermines the author's point that it's a "deeply Christian movie". It doesn't make even a little sense, considering her character doesn't attempt any destruction or temptation or attempt to get anyone to act against the god-figure. Maybe in the jealousy of "God"'s affections, but that's hardly an essential aspect of the characterization of Satan.
