Guns are not going away but I do think we may be seeing a change in momentum. The NRA and hard core gun right advocates have over played their hand and blocked restrictions that are supported by large majorities of the country. Things like banning bump stocks, high capacity magazines and waiting periods. They are trying to say we just need keep guns out of the hands of mentally unstable people but then they block expanding back ground checks and the gun show loophole.
I support the right to owning a gun to protect myself I just don't want to have to do it against crazies with military grade hardware.
All of a sudden it seems fashionable to be concerned about the "opioid addiction epidemic"
