But call me an optimist, I don't think Trump voters will let themselves be taken for fools forever.

It doesn't matter to them. The polarization of politics here is quite complete that there is almost no room for centrists or independent thought. The fact that Trump has the (R) next to his name is all that matters.

I am just hoping to see the House and/or Senate flip in 2018 so we have divided government here and then there can be greater checks on the executive.


I don't want either chamber to flip, because I'm tired of the Democratic party (hello...they literally cheated to ensure that Clinton got the nod), besides the fact that their politics are not mine.

But I still want greater greater checks on the Executive....
