And I believe I already said that 'point' is self-evident and the column didn't seem to have anything of substance to offer? The closest it came to a non-trivial point was the reference to the 'boy who cried wolf' thing with the left-wing media's treatment of GW Bush and Romney - but even that point has been made a hundred times before.

You'll have to forgive me for omitting the LA Times, the Huff Post, or the many other left-wing media sources I could have listed. Point is, there is left-wing media and right-wing media in the US - maybe that wasn't so much the case a few decades ago, but it certainly has been for a long time now. But the baffling thing is how some conservatives (however many of them ) keep talking about 'the media' as if that only includes the left-wing ones and Fox somehow isn't 'media'. The alternative of 'the mainstream media' is less blatantly nonsensical, even if it does seem silly to pretend that Fox isn't part of the mainstream nowadays, and surely the WSJ always has been.
