Doing any type of running in those conditions is a challenge. That distance is even more so. Any type of completion is a gigantic victory.

If it weren't for the constant drizzling snow/sleet and not having waterproof thermal gloves, I would have been fine. But the heat is much more dangerous at those distances because of the heat generated by all the thousands of calories burned. My Strava app said I burned over 7200 calories during the race
