If you want to help children who come from disadvantaged families i'm with you. I think excessive accumulation of wealth into fewer and fewer hands is one of the greatest threats to modern society. Making sure that we're have diversity in the mega rich accomplishes nothing.

Arab nations use Israel and the US to distract from how poorly they are running their country. We are seeing the same here where race issues are used to divide people over what is really a class issue. Trump gets most of the white working poor, unite them with the working minority poor end you could get stuff done. Can't di thay I'd you tel the working white that they deserve less help because of white privilege. Poor whites, the largest subgroup of poor, really don't feel that privileged.


But that is a problem of language, for identity is just language turn inward. We humans have many things and language is one of the mind tools we have to organize our behavior, but the problem is language can't not truly understand, it can't truly know, it can't create perfect organization, and thus we must have meta-cognition and be able to pause our language and to change it on the fly.

Yes only a true solution is one that addresses wealth at the bottom (the disadvantage) will be color blind. That is the only way forward.

Yet we use language (what you call identity) to point out the status quo is NOT GOOD ENOUGH, that it is not just, it is not fair, it is not "just deserts". People need to be showed that the status quo is not fair in order to create change or else people that have some will say I do not want to change the status quo for I am happy with the pre-existing arrangement.

But once the error of the status quo is pointed out, we must PIVOT and move to a system that is universal and via pivoting we are switching from one mind tool to another mind tool. For example we may use a drill to bore a hole, but we use a screw to tighten and form a joint in this new hole. Quotes part of a famous quote.

Aka only by creating a better house a more ideal house can we dismantle the current present. Yet at the same time certain mind tools are used to show us the need to escape the current present for it is unsatisfactory.
