Employment is subject to federal, state, and local rules and regulations. And taxes.

We are not living in some libertarian laissez-faire world where my employment is governed only by the whims of the employer.

So let them tax me to support a federal policy governing family leave. In Massachusetts we are already taxed for that policy. I see nothing wrong with this, even though I am not likely to have children.

Are you against all this too?
