If there's no Dem VP, well, I don't see any way they're gaining five, not unless something seriously shakes things up. I don't think they'll even get four. Nor would I want them to, not if it means Collins losing her seat.

So here's to four more years of gridlock, no matter whether the trainwreck in the White House stays or goes...
