fionwe, how are your friends and family in India doing? I hope they are well. Three of my friends in Mysuru have tested positive in the last month. One is fully recovered, the other two are still in quarantine but almost out and are currently symptom free. Sadly, however the first one to catch it, Aditya, had his sister's husband pass away from the virus.

Sadly, however the first one to catch it, Aditya, had his sister's husband pass away from the virus.
No deaths, yet. Lots of people tested positive in my family. And a couple made delightful trips to the ER. But we've been lucky. And also, we're extraordinarily previlaged by Indian standards so we got access to medication and hospital beds when required.
But I'm not sure how long that lasts. And being stuck here unable to help except in the flimsiest ways isn't easy. Let's hope the wave crests soon.
