Although I have to admit categorizing what is essentially the buddy system as "allyship training" irritated me beyond measure. 
I'm all for reasonable discussion. As I age, I find I try to seek consensus more than I did as a younger man. Consensus is difficult to obtain with those who believe if you aren't actively anti-racist, then you are racist. Of course the far right is equally unreasonable. No one has a monopoly on polarization.
