I agree with your criticisms.

I think the opening scene is supposed to be Wisdom training. But whatever it is, it makes no sense. You're right, Nynaeve would never do that.

The White Tower looks nothing like what I pictured from the books.


I can generally forgive that sort of thing, but it's just wrong. It's like just a big building. Tower is a dumb name for it.
The line, "the Power inside you" is hideous. It is absolutely not inside anyone, but the ability to tap into it is. Plus as you said, there are no different names for it. It's the One Power. Period.

Tam, the simple farmer who never speaks of his military accomplishments, would not suddenly start spouting Pattern/Wheel philosophy.

Or at least not until much later.
"The only thing that matters is what you do," is the exact opposite of the theme of the books for all the reasons you stated.

It's like Game of Thrones picking the name for the show because it's cooler than the series name, and then sticking with it in a complete reversal of the theme of the series.
At first I thought the Myddraal looked cool. Then, not so much. Agree about the Pennywise teeth.
