The "who is the Dragon Reborn" mystery would have had the same negative effect if they stuck to the books and kept the mystery restricted to the boys. Adding Nynaeve and Egwene as potential Dragons was also done in the most hamfisted of fashions. The "wokeness" didn't cause the bad writing. Those are independently true of this writing crew.
