Obviously, what annoys me about it is the virtue signaling component. Even a decade ago, the headlines would not have hailed Clark as the NCAA all time scoring leader for both the men's and women's games. They would have lauded her for what she actually accomplished.

On a related point, in a recent poll that asked, who would win if Caitlin Clark and Ben Simmons played 1 on 1 against each other, 75% chose Clark. This is so ridiculous, there are no words with which to comment.
