I'm at work right now, but I don't want to forget this. Isaac, you're taking werewolf to literally, probably to misdirect us from something.

I will elaborate upon returning home, around 130. Kronin out.


Where was I? Right, Isaac.

Ok, so Napoleon claims to be attacked by a big monster. While Katie and Blackadder go to look at what series/characters this monster could be from/could be, Isaac immediately jumps to the idea of a werewolf.

A werewolf is either (a) a basic scum faction or (b) a Cult. Now, both of these factions in and of themselves are plausible, as is a werewolf character. But the case in which classic Mafia werewolf is generally used is a classic Mafia setting, which this clearly is not. Isaac would obviously know this (we know him well enough to know this), but is merely using the presence/possibility of a werewolf to lure us away from finding out the actual killer.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of seeing that.


I agree that the werewolf story is a stretch, mostly because I just can't imagine the DFs/Cultists making a gambit like that. Plus, I think Napoleon's roleclaim and flavor make sense, although self-protecting as doc seems like a waste of an opportunity to potentially clear someone. By protecting oneself as a doc, one is essentially protecting a vanilla, since they have no other power except that protection, which they already used.

Now, whether Isaac is arguing this case to intentionally mislead us... I don't know since I've never played with him before. I'd like some more experienced people to weigh in on that first.
