Agreed on both points, they are both 'possible', the deviation from the norm though is noteworthy, I think, especially as he had admitted to being wounded by the attack, pre character claim, combined with the day's intro text, this seemed rather unlikely. Post-claim, more plausible, and so long as everyone keeps in mind that we should not be accepting his information as written on stone tablets, I'm content for now. I hope I have clarified my reasoning on this, before we move on, so it isn't later raised again as proof of perfidy

We should, I suppose, return to the matter of Artsapat. Your death as a townie does diminish some parts of the case on him, since you were obviously not working together and since we know a townie can give an invalid answer to those questions. However, there remain some substantive points that while I do believe could be produced by a townie, in my mind elevate him to our 'default candidate' for todays' lynch, obviously I'd rather we continued for the moment to pursue other avenues as well but I also don't want to drag the day out.

1) His relative reluctance to assist in the questioning process or answer questions.

2) His own contradictory answer, claiming that wrestling does not take place in the modern real world, this is coupled to his claiming not one but two currently running reality TV shows as also not being 'real' or 'modern', which to me strongly implies he was not originally comparing those settings to his answers, that implies they are fake.

3) He has strongly objected to the questions I raised, but not given reasons, and considers them proof of my scumminess, originally voting for me for presenting the case on you and him then apparently seeing the light and voting for you, then voting for me again today on the same principle

4)At the same time he was raising this argument for lynch he proposed what was basically the textbook case of scummer question to reveal roles 'did you receive a dawn/dusk message?'

5)He refused to answer the consistency question, though we now know all others have claimed to be consistent, the only person who otherwise hedged was you, with a kinda then a yes, which now makes more sense, I have difficulty imagine that reasoning applying to his own alleged character, a wrestler. Clearly he was leery of saying the truth, which is yes, raising the specter of why.

Now, a quick defense. Artsapat plays quite well for a new player, but he is still new, so he can be said to be more likely to make typical DF blunders but he can also be considered more likely to make blunders as a townie as well. For (1) he could simply be reluctant to answer because of the various people saying the questions were a bad idea, (2) The contradiction stands, I can't see MRE UNC being plausible for his answer as pro-wrestler, but it could be a mistake of a non-nefarious nature, (3) He may, again, view my questions as scummy because people have been saying so, been convinced by the wave moving on you and the option not to be the casualty himself, then seeing it go bad have felt even more worried on the matter. (4) I've been encouraging people to ask questions, and this is only his second game and last one did feature everyone getting messages pretty much non-stop, it is not too big a leap to think he might not have realized the impact of that. Finally, (5) this refusal to answer CON could just be worry and stubbornness.

So, summarizing, I don't view the evidence on Artsapat at this time to be particular strong. Stronger than on anyone else? Yes. Strong enough for a lynch? Also yes. I'd like to hear an RC from him, his question about dawn/dusk messages strongly indicates he got one, I think, and his character claim is just not likely to be a cop or a tracker. I can't see much harm in hearing his roleclaim, which I doubt to be vanilla. His vote for you, when we barely had enough people speaking to pull off a majority, came more or less as I was aksing FT his reason why he was voting for Artsapat over you, and likely we'd have asked Artsapat for a roleclaim. With Napoleon's doc claim and his character claim as wrestler, I have difficulty seeing how any role he might have would be likely to warrant much need for secrecy at this point. I am also aware of certain, shall we say, loose points in the above, I would appreciate if people would refrain from mentioning them until after Artsapat has spoken up on the matter.
