It is usually not a good idea to claim you have a role without anyone asking. There are a couple of reasons. Firstly, it paints a great big "Please Kill Me" sign on your back for the scum. Their main goal in life is to kill the cop, the doc, the vig, or any other pro-Town role that can put a crimp in their evil, evil plans. That's basically the reason we don't mass claim on Day 1 or 2, to protect the roles and allow them to work in the safety of anonymity. And the second reason is related to the first, being that it will make the Town suspicious of you because no real cop/doc/vig/whatevs would claim without being asked because then they would get NK'd. It seems like a good scum tactic to avoid a Lynch. Who's going to vote to lynch a potentially extremely useful role? No one. Better not to risk it, eh? I am cutting you some suspicion slack right now because you're new to the game, like you said, but if you're not dead come tomorrow, expect a great deal of suspicion to start coming your way. Though for the record I will add that if Yuna is not actually a DF or a SK or some other third thing, and is really a pro-Town role, she is behaving in a very anti-Town manner. We are all focusing on her, and we are very probably going to Lynch her unless she comes out with something spectacular, but I am not having much luck thinking of anything she could do to change my mind, particularly since she's already said she's not a Vig. But anyway, whatever game she's playing, it's distracting everyone from what we should actually be doing - looking for the Mafia.
