We have to go only by games in which their were named characters. We never even referenced named characters that I recall until your game 5 set at the battle near Tar Valon and my game 8 where we were in a town on Mat and Rand's book 1 journey path. Both games NPCs appeared as NPCs only in passing. So we can eliminate all of the first 9 games. Actually until Game 16 there is no by name reference to any established character except game 12 by Katie... where you and I got mason'd as [shudder] Twilight characters... IIRC you thought I was a scummer. However DK's game the baddies were pretty much bad and the good guys were mostly good. So in the first 15 games, 1 known character game, mostly good v bad, straigfht up.

Game 16, Mad Maud, named for a character in the series albeit a tangential one... I tihnk we may take for a given that implied alignment by book parallel was definitely non-functional there but no named character alignment. Prior to that incidentally was Gher's Robot game which had to be the most prime example of Red Herring by Mod.

Roughly around this time we had the RP mafia game, you and I aligned, and the 'townies' were all dark friends and IIRC we were book characters or tied around the Book 2 WoT prologue, whcihever I tr ynot to tihnk of that game much

So 1 exmaple, up to Game 17 - CRossover Game 2 (Katie's was #1) by Rana... yeah... just gonna link the role message summary form that one. I'm calling that 1-1 though, even excluding the cult making character judgement irrelevant I don't think "Captain Morgan, Rum Guy" is too indicative of scum nor Inspector Javert a default good guy but he was town... and that was the one where we had to kill Yuna like three times.

Moving on... #18, you again, Pirate v Ninjas... no named characters though IIRC there was a day 1 scum-turning relic.

Our third named character game is #19... Beet's game, already discussed that one, scum had ironclad named character hero claims, SKrull or not is irrelavant to context... so 2-1

#20, Yuna, named characters, anime so I cna't really discuss, ask her though, but I think it qualifies too, still call it neutral for now, 2-1-1

#21 - DK - the actual first game with real townies, but no named characters, and the first with the mod as a real NPC, mayor Katie. Good game but not applicable

#22 - Kronin, the Greek mythology game... yeah, no brainer on that one, Korinin had Plato and Socrates as scum and townie and cited his reason as "By the way, the reason Socrates was evil, while Plato was not is just that, honestly, I don't like Socrates. He's kind of a dick."

So 3-1-1

#23... Dresden Files... well that is a given

4-1-1

Game #24 - Yours, you tell me on that I don't recall that being named though

#25 - Rana, Mistborn - Not named character sin that either, except as modificaitons of ourselves, feel obliged to point out we were the nobles in mistborn as townies, very definitely not good=town there.

#26 - Jon's first mod, MacBeth, IIRC the bad guys were the sons of the king... nominally considered good guys in the tale.

5-1-1

#27, you again, no named characters.

PResent... so 5-1-1 and either 6-1 or 5-2, let Yuna decide, meaning that character alignment and role alignment were bad mutual gauges in at least 5/7 games and possibly 6/7 games.




It's a lie if he knows it's not true and says it, he has no business not knowing that it was untrue and stating it as rigid fact, but I don't believe he didn't know.
