As irritating as this is to do, since I'm the only current alternative, I'd like to briefly talk about fistofpainx.

The only evidence against him:

He's been quiet (says he posts from school, IIRC).


I did this all the time. I think it's legit.

He suggested not lynching anyone, since there's no good evidence.

The first could be legitimate. Especially since he's been accused for a few days now, and has offered little to no defense. Furthermore, no one ELSE has offered defense. Where are his DF allies trying to at least offer a token defense?


As DFs, I think they'd most likely try their best to stay away and NOT offer a token defense, lest they get involved in the whole thing and get screwed. If he died by inactivity, he'd be seen as a DF and whoever defended him willingly offered himself up when it seemed like FoP didn't even care about his own life. If I was his ally, I would leave him alone.

The second is a bit anti-town, true, but it's also the behavior of a new player. I know when I first started playing, I figured it was better not to lynch anyone than risk lynching a townie. How many games has fistofpainx been a part of?


I must again reiterate that it is NOT anti town in certain situations to call for a no lynch. It really is NOT. There are always going to be exceptions to the rule and a no lynch vote does have it's place. It just depends on the situation. I am beginning to see the worth of a day 1 lynch, however much it pains me, though. IIRC, you're newer than him too. And if that's true, then how could you pass judgment in this respect?

I mentioned how easy it is to manipulate the early days- all it takes is someone confident to accuse someone, and there you are. I'm honestly pretty confused at this point, and I'm having a tough time picking out well-intentioned townies attacking me vs. gleeful Imperials, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to discover fistofpainx was innocent.


I don't know. I'm getting more and more convinced that you are guilty. Let's take a look at you, anyway. You, again, flipped views to seem more pro-light. Let's say you are a DF. You say that FoP is a townie. You know this, obviously. Then if he gets killed at all, it gives you credibility. You can say "I told you guys! Now you can trust me!" There's so much you're doing that just doesn't feel right to me. I'm gonna have to go with Great Big Hand of Suspicion: Beetnemesis</b. I don't trust you and I am inches from voting.

I also look forward to Nap's analysis- a fresh perspective will be good.
