This game is cooked. We all know it, I don't see any reason to finish it out, FT and I accidentally broke it. These things happen, the game 2 incident and all the talk around preventing it from happening again all took place before Yunalesca joined the crew. It really isn't the sort of thing you think of when modding without having seen it happen.

Let's just call this one a draw, or a pyhrric town victory, and re-open recruitment, play game 10b if you would. We've got some players waiting to join anyway. I'll finish it out if you guys want to, but I think this particular game is roasted. Either the town gets an Ash-tasting victory or the DFs pull off an Epic Win. It's not really fair either way, trust me on this one guys, we're better off cutting our losses.


uh, what happened in game two?


In game 2 the vanillas - me, Carncarn, Stephen, and Hobo - all got the same role message, straight copy and paste. We were able to use that to identify 4 out of 8 players as pro-town. We literally ended up asking things like 'In your role message, what was the first letter of the word that is a synonym for X, what was the last letter of the word following it?'. The town ended up lynching both DFs consecutively, after that, and a near repeat in game 4, we basically all agreed not to use specific text from our role messages to try to identify people. We also made a point of having the mods scramble the text around, so everyone's role message was unique, even down to things like 'you achieve victory with the light' while someone else got 'You win with the town' or 'VC: eliminate all DFs' etc.


i didn't know that, again my inability to ask for help has buggered things up. i suck
