Anyway, I imagine we should start talking about this game.

At first glance, this seems pretty straightforward, Light against Darkfriends, the amulet probably grants cop powers (or insane cop powers), though whether one of us starts with it or if we can acquire it somehow is uncertain. Given its nature as an object, I imagine the power is transferable in some way, possibly its power gets acquired by whoever kills the previous owner? But that sounds improbable, because the most likely killer would be a Darkfriend, and what would they do with a device that allows detection of other Darkfriends?

I don't know how this device would react to a third faction either.

Now, one thought I've had is that the amulet could be an item from Shadar Logoth, that is, it makes its possessor paranoid, so everyone comes up a Darkfriend. From the story, that seems unlikely, otherwise Muad would likely have killed everyone around him, or conspired for them all to die.

Either way, it seems to me that the simplest solution would be for us all to remain together until midnight, then whoever has the amulet could roleclaim and we'd be done. That would probably ruin Isaac's game though .

There's also the dead Darkfriend. I'm not sure what to make of him, possibly he indicates the presence of a vigilante or a serial killer, perhaps something else.
