You make a plausible case for Blaine, I suppose. I dunno, yes we were asking for a response, but this is a MESSAGE BOARD game. Even the most urgent demands have a leeway of like 36 hours.

It's really just as likely that he's a DF. He saw the general nature of our backgrounds, and in the "rush" to make his own, screwed up the Aiel War/Shaido thing- and everthing since then has been trying to wallpaper over the cracks in his story.
