It's a double-edged sword.

On the one hand, it lets the cop tell us his investigations. That way, if/when he dies, there will be a clear, unalterable list of his results, that no one can really argue with.

On the OTHER hand, it gives the DFs an opportunity to figure out who the cop is. Really, all they have to do is look at everyone hypocopping, and figure out who is the only person who's gotten every night correct.


Of course, if your freaking cop gets killed on the FIRST NIGHT, it doesn't make much of a difference... the only reason I suggested it was because Isaac obviously has "Events" lined up- Hobo's death alone referenced two, I believe (Blaine's death gave the "Revenge" event, and if Hobo had died Blaine would have gotten some type of Event).
