Sorry. Guess I should immerse myself in official SW novels before replying.

If we want an argument about Sith, it's pretty easy. They take the easy way to power. Wanton destruction is a lot easier than self-restraint, and they have no qualms about destroying property or bystanders when it's time to be violent. We could also assume that Sith spend time honing their saber skills instead of learning the finer points of inter-stellar diplomacy.
But, seriously. Bad Guys (tm) have to be intimidating. I wasn't trying to be a jerk about it. Punctuation and NM posts tend to get interpreted that way, though. Camilla said essentially the same thing without getting rebuked.

The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.

Why are the Sith always made to seem stronger than the Jedi?

This. And "Star Wars" is not really trying to be anything more than a campy space opera. &

Wrong as it sounds: Balance to the force actually means no dark side practitioners. *NM*

Evil is what throws it out of balance. Why do people persist in thinking it is ever necessary? *NM*

That's all true, but my point is simply that the Jedi are in charge more often than the Sith.
