The Cylon in the stadium sequence was pretty exciting, but I've ALWAYS had a problem with how on TV people are always about to control things like a half dozen or so Cylons with an 80's computer or a simple laptop program. I also was annoyed that the STO bombers didn't blow the hell out of themselves when the first two or three were blasted.
I tend to agree, but this isn't just anyone controlling the Cylons, it's the guy who invented them. I can suspend my disbelief a little more in that case.
True, but it still nags me because it's a laptop. Obviously we don't know the specs of this particular laptop, but I find it hard to believe that it's powerful enough to control six or seven highly sophisticated Cylons. If he broke into his lab at work then I could buy him using a supercomputer, but a laptop is stretching even my suspended disbelief.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.
