I'm really not fond of American actors (not necessarily the voice actors, but most especially when a famous actor does the voice) doing anime voices. The only times I really use a dub is if I'm really too tired to read or I'm watching with children who can't read fast enough. Dubs are mostly really bad.

I prefer subtitles because they tend to stay as close to the original artistic intent as possible
