It's my favourite of the summer movies I've seen so far this year.

Here's what I said in a post after I watched it:

"The movie as a whole: excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a decent story, top-quality young actors, a great creature/monster, good effects, solid music, and mint production values. Hee.

"The two main young actors, the boy and the girl, were particularly excellent.

"I give it two enthusiastic thumbs up, and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good time at the movies."
