It's great sense of fun Mark Send a noteboard - 10/10/2011 03:52:28 PM
It's a fun film with a rollicking Boy's Own sense of adventure and style.

It has at it's heart one of cinemas all time great characters played superbly by a never better Harrison Ford.

It has iconic set pieces that still stand up to scrutiny today.

It is also magnificently paced. I watched it for the first time in a while last year and was surprised at how quickly the story moved. Compared to modern day blockbusters with their bloated running times and uneven pacing it was an absolute joy.

I get that Raiders might not be to your taste, but I think it's one of the finest examples of an adventure film ever made.
