The Jenn didn't fail the Aes Sedai. krassos Send a noteboard - 17/05/2010 04:06:47 PM
They were loyal to the bitter end. They held to the Way of the Leaf. They protected the objects of power that were placed in their charge. Finally, they died out. They were the last of the true Aiel.

The Jenn of course being the small clan that built Rueidian, however it's spelled. The Jenn being the last remnant of the true Aiel people that their fallen brothers and sisters followed until the Jenn entered the Waste, where those growing masses finally broke off and formed their current culture of clans and societies.

What Mook said - You should have noticed that the run of the mill Aiel have a rather inaccurate view of their own history, as proven by their mass reaction to the revelations in book 4 - utter disbelief. Taking their word as canon is silly.
