... but while you can channel in your sleep, you can only channel Spirit. I don't remember what Gateways are spun from, but if it's anything other than Spirit, you couldn't do it.


Your TAR body can channel anything. Nyn channeled up a weave of fire to attack Rhavin. It was weak, and I think he countered it with TAR-bending, but she did it. Whether it's actual channeling or only the person dreaming of channeling, meaning they're not accessing the One Power, just creating the weaves with their mind the same way they'd create anything else, we don't know.


And I'm not sure that paragraph makes sense. Basically, when Nyn channeled a flow of fire, I'm not sure if that fire actually came from the True Source, or if it was just dreamed into existence.
