Is it stated somewhere that 50% of the Aes Sedai went to the Shadow in the AOL? I can't remember reading about any such figure.
Jordan himself in a Question of the Week stated that about 50% of all the AS were serving the Shadow in the WOS.
We don't know the percentage of non-channellers on the Shadow's side, though the way the Forsaken see these people, I suspect it was a much lower percentage than among AS.
