Wolves can sense channelers - the wolves knew Egwene was different, remember?

To wolves, channelers are "marked" and are said to stand out from the rest of their pack. I'm not sure if this ability is also held by Wolfbrothers, but given that wolves often warn Perrin about threats such as these in the dream, it wouldn't take much to reveal Aran'gar as an agent of the Shadow and a channeler.
Also Aran'gar is so evil that Perrin would start to pick up on this threat of violence as soon as he comes around.

Graendal strikes me as a voyeur - she likes to watch more than actively participate, I suspect.

I think the patron's identity might be something that RJ not necessarily wanted to reveal. *NM*

There's some evidence against that, though

I think Aran'gar wouldn't directly confront Demandred

Maybe Aran'gar rather hides among the 100.000, i.e. she would be hard to discover

It's not about dismissing her lightly - it has more to do with being accurate with an assessment
