How are the Sea Folk a branch of the Da'shain Aiel? Have I forgotten something?


The island dwellers called the Amayar, a seperate culture and people who the Seafolk protect are possibly descendants of the Aiel. Thus their adherence to a philosophy quite similar to the Way of the Leaf(called the Water Way - not an exact duplicate but close as it regards pacifism and acceptance highly).

The Seafolk have taken it upon themselves to be the guardians of the Amayar since the breaking and are culturally closely tied to these people.(yet completely separate)
