Re: Olver Hot Pie Send a noteboard - 27/09/2010 05:42:25 PM
So what are people thinking about this little guy? He's left behind? dies? something else?

I would guess he sneaks in after the 3 enter TOG and messes up the mission. In turn, causing Mat to save 'em by sacrificing his eye. This would be both tragic and heroic. He did after all say that this unfolding of events was inevitable and this seems the most likely to me.

The only thing that bugs me about suggesting this is, would sacrificing his eye for some mishap Olver causes be saving the world? My logic tells me that giving up his eye just for Olver isn't saving the world so I'm not sure how exactly this will all tie in together, but it seems the most logical course.
