I suppose it is good that Egwene is gathering all the world armies to oppose Rand, but her objection to Rand is really quite stupid.
The seals are breaking anyway whether Rand decides to break them or not. Since it is inevitable that the seals break, it only makes sense that Egwene should help Rand concoct a plan to defeat the DO once the seals have been broken. Egwene, of course, doesn't see it this way. Perrin and Nynaeve, so far, are the only ones smart enough to see the truth.
The world isn't going to suddenly be doomed if the seals are broken. The DO was not sealed during the whole war with the shadow during Lews Therin's time. You would think Egwene should know this being Amyrlin and all.

I think it is more of a instance of not seeing through the kneejerk reaction. Everyone in the world grew up KNOWING that the seals were what was keeping the DO and the forsaken in the bore. Everyone KNEW that without the seals the DO would destroy the world. Rand just needs to take a little time to get folks past what tehy KNOW and to get them to see what IS. This is a fairly common theme in WOT, and life.

Her arguably irrational objections might be a result of Aran'gar's compulsion. *NM*

Rand is the Dragon Reborn. That doesn't mean he's the savior of the world.

Absolutely. I suspected he was doing this the moment he organised another meeting. *NM*

I would find that unsatisfying and not quite logical

Her objection is based out of a fear borne of good reasoning

Of course you'd say that. You just won't get past your prejudice in favor of her, can you?
