Her objection is not just irrational, it is stupid.

The time she spent thinking about her position was exactly the amount of time it took for her to object to it.

And then she continues on down this road.

There doesn't even seem to be any discussion of it in the Tower. The hall, notorious for disagreeing over every issue, among itself and particularly with arbitrary decisions made by the AmSeat sat by and let her.

Funny that.


"Watcher of the Seals" does not refer to Valen Luca's traveling menagerie. One of the intended purposes of the White Tower and the power of the Amerlin is to protect the seals and prevent the escape of the dark one. Of course the Aes Sedai are going to react like that.
