that's a pretty poor argument for showing BS as messing everything up LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 26/11/2010 01:29:16 AM
"Well, he took one massive book and made it into three big books, so therefore he probably completely messed around and took artistic license with a bunch of things!!!"

I find it pretty appalling that so many people want to point fingers at BS. You don't have RJ's notes. You have have no idea anything about them. This is a man who is trying very hard to be as true as possible to RJs writings, and is also being edited by RJ's wife and editor. Do you really think Harriet would let him dance all over RJ's writings?? And what did BS do to warrant such suspicion (Besides commit the HEINOUS crime of dividing a book into smaller pieces)?

BS has made very clear and succinct explanations as to why he divided it, amount to "yah it would have been way too massive to feasibly write, publish and read." To say that because he made the decision to break the book up in to more feasible chunks is evidence that he likely tampered with "massive" amounts is a ridiculous leap in logic.

Well!! That baker divided that giant cookie recipe into 3 smaller balls of cookie dough before he baked it!! He MUST have made huge departures from the recipe!! What? Oh no I have no idea what the recipe was to begin with. But he totally did!!!
