That is not what "ppl" are saying. "People" are well aware that this book might have been split even with RJ behind the wheel. The thing is, though, that RJ would have split the story in a way faithful to his outline. Sanderson's sin here is that he had the arrogance to completely restructure RJ's outline, which has resulted in much poorer story.
