I also read TGS and TOM one after the other and would have to disagree wth your comment there too. the timeline jumping around was very noticeable and not sensible or smooth at all - after hearing of Perrin being in Caemlyn with the Queen we suddenly go to him being mired in the middle of nowhere.

Where exactly we seen this? I don't remember hearing of Perrin being in Caemlyn with the Queen and see him mired in the middly of nowhere.

You made this up.

Nope, just remembered it not quite right :) I was thinking of Rand and Tam's scene towards the end of TGS where Tam mentions the Whitecloaks and the queen. Then the reference to Elayne threw my memory off, I thought he'd said they were all in Caemlyn together at that point which he didn't.

He's most certainly mired in the middle of nowhere in TOM, how else would you describe wading through mud for days?

That's exactly my point.

Brandon made very exciting and complicated story line. And most people immediately started to blame him for their own fallacy.

Basically, there were no messed up scene, it's you who have messed up the storyline in your mind, but was very quick to dump a lot of crap on Brandon.

Disagree strongly on the time line issue - TOM showed what a mistake splitting by 'clusters' was IMO - 27/11/2010 07:24:55 AM 807 Views
