If you want it oversimplified, peasants are farmers, serfs are slaves.


They both tended to the crops and mended the land. I'm sure as hell not going to get into specific detail of the various class of labourers during the Middle Ages. I just prefer using Peasants rather than serfs.

If you like, just imagine in my previous post all the times I've used "peasant", just pretend it's "serf." There ya go.
