Your argument would have merit if we'd seen any- ANY- of the other Aiel taking slaves and calling them gai'shain.

But we haven't. Every other clan thought this was reprehensible, and there have been no signs that Aiel society as a whole is doing this.

(Moreover, Now that the Shaido have been dispersed from the wetlands, and freed from Sevanna's influence, I'd be surprised if even the Shaido continue this. But that's another discussion).


You were saying the Aiel were no better than the Seancean, because the Aiel have slaves (gai'shain) just like the Seancean do (damane, plus there are actual people-as-property). Since this is false- the Aiel as a whole do NOT keep slaves, nor has there been any indication that they will- this point is invalid.



There are arguments to be made that the Seancean aren't that bad (they bring order, stability, etc), but this isn't one of them.
