Elayne is not stronger than most AS at this point in the books darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 04/02/2011 08:14:41 PM
at the END of TSR she was shocked that she was strong enough to lift a single woman and commented that she had grown in strength.

Note that Meidani, who is probably just above average AS strength, could lift Verin's corps while holding open a Gateway.

Elayne at this point in the books is probably not much stronger than an average AS and Egwene is just a hair stronger than Moiraine. Meanwhile you have Nynaeve who has been channeling for years and was already stronger than Moiraine by TGH ... months later after she's been forced and has reached Moghedien's level ... which at this point in the books probably means she was as strong as Elyane and Egwene combined, but had far less room to grow than either of them.

Egwene gets forced further in the waste and probably even once she became Amyrlin. Elayne is still behind Egwene but clearly was forced during her Salidar stay, it's hinted any number of times that the Sisters were wringing her and Nynaeve dry because of all the "discoveries" which implies they are being Forced.
