In addition the men are on the same Curve and have more strength than the women so what happens is the raw strengths of the women shifts downward along the curve when you add in the men.

essentially Lanfear moves from being a 100 (her effective strength) to something like a 75 (her raw strength) when you populate a Bell Curve.

This is one place we disagree on. The bell curve is a distribution of effective strength, not raw strength. RJ made that very clear with his talk about adjusting for dexterity to calculate that 37.5% of both men and women in the bell curve aren't strong enough to be AS.
