It's interesting that Graendal doesn't wear streith anymore. Maybe it gave too much away at Forsaken meetings?

To play devil's advocate: "Graendal preferred a nice sharp scream", like: "You? No!", maybe..?

Wonder from which distant islands this sweetbristle juice comes. Sea Folk island, Isle of Madmen, Seanchan or Sharan islands?

Thurasa, a beautiful and highly prized member of the Domani merchant council, might be the DF Domani woman from TGH, prologue. In any event, she and/or this DF Domani will likely help Graendal in her plottings to keep Arad Doman in chaos. After all, the King of Arad Doman has to be elected by the council of merchants. So, Rand will probably have to deal with them, if he wants to install Ituralde as King or Steward.

Moridin's fortress in the deep north-east of the Blight is interesting. It reminds me of the BT and might be what inspired Taim to built it (if he was Ishy's pupil in the past). Probably Slayer, who waited in the high passes of the Mountains of Dhoom, according to the Dark Prophecy, also has such a black Stone Tower in the Blight to live in. After all, we see that humans can apparently live in the Blight (one wonders how they are supplied with food, water, etc.). And apparently there are Shadowspawn that won't even bow to a Forsaken, although they have their Forsaken marks. I wonder if the guards in black uniforms who don't care about the heat are actually DF Asha'man..
In my view, the reason for Moridin to be that far away from the Westlands in the deep northeastern Blight might be that his link to Rand becomes more problematic the closer both are to each other.

Why does "only Moridin knew where to find her, now that Sammael was dead?" Moghedien, Cyndane and SH know, too! Probably she means the only man who can find her, since she realizes that the Gateway must be made by saidin. That leads to another question, did Moridin make a saidin Gateway, since it didn't seem like TP Travelling, then sent his servant through to bring Graendal (though he only entered later the meeting room)? Or did the servant somehow create the provided Gateway (might be a channeler or maybe with a ter'angreal). The latter could explain how the DF come come to SG in TGH and leave again to their homes. The pretty servant's appearance with blond hair and green eyes could indicate that he is from Andor or an Aiel (obviously he isn't a zomaran).

In any case, that Graendal is certain that Sammael is dead supports the idea that she used him as her disguise when she ordered the Trolloc army to attack Rand's in Tear in KoD. Plus, Graendal thinks that Rand is the real threat and that he should be killed, but knows that it isn't allowed, and even says that none of them so far had proven strong enough to defeat him, which could hint at her try to kill him via the Trolloc army.

It's also clear now that Moridin didn't work that closely with Graendal in the past, but now needs her, especially to break Rand, but probably also as an ally against Demandred and his allies.

Good to know that Graendal has even spies in the W and the Borderlander camp. Besides that, Graendal states that Aran'gar is still playing with the Rebel AS. This indicates further that at least Sheriam might still be under Aran'gar's thumb. Casually, Graendal also tells us that she knows that Cyndane is Lanfear, since she mentions seven remaining Chosen.

How did Graendal get the clue that Semirhage had been pulling strings with the Seanchan? Maybe during some of her comments at the Forsaken meetings or the fact that she was allowed to stay away from the Cleansing.

Mesaana's plain white dress is somewhat strange, if she is an AS, because normally such dresses are worn by novices or Accepted.

I think Moridin especially doesn't allow Mesaana and Demandred to free Semirhage, because he fears that Rand might be harmed again. Otherwise it really doesn't make sense to risk that she gives important information away.

Moridin's final words almost sound like a recitation of a Dark Prophecy. Maybe Moridin got this strategy as a counter to the Prophecy of the Dragon: "Pray that the heart of stone remembers tears, and the soul of fire, love."
