Now that BS is writing the books & after reading the prologue (which was mainly written by RJ, though) and ch. 1, I have to say that it starts to prey on my mind, if all the things which are written there are truly accurate. I don't mean that RJ would certainly formulate things differently than BS, that's obvious because RJ was simply much more powerfully eloquent than BS. I wonder, though, if the content is always correct. It's now even harder to determine if some things are intentionally, or maybe just blunders/inaccuraciesy (which even RJ made, of course).
Examples which could mean something or nothing would be that Moridin is suddenly using human servants, that Graendal isn't wearing her streith gown anymore, or - as Sidious pointed out - that the channeling effects are described quite scantily, that Tylee doesn't remark on the extreme height of the "man" (Trolloc) who attacks her, or - as some people pointed out - that some lines of the characters don't seem to fit them.
That also makes it more difficult to base theories on something, because one can basically never be 100 % sure that things are really "canon" (i. e. if RJ had really written the content that way).
Because of this uncertainty, I hope that BS will eventually publish his annotations, so that one can determine possible mistakes more easily.
