Re: I found it interesting that creatures in the blight don't obey the Chosen

I found Graendal's comments about creatures in the blight ONLY obeying the Great Lord himself to be very interesting.
I always thought, obviously mistakenly, that shadowspawn would leave the Chosen alone. I was surprised to learn that is not the case.
I wonder why Myrdraal and Trollocs will obey the Forsaken but other shaodwspawn inhabiting the blight will not?
And why will those that live in the blight obey the dark one, but not the Forsaken?
Will the shadowspawn in the blight obey Shaidar Haran?
Intersting questions and perhaps some intersting foreshadowing by RJ/BS. I wonder if we see one of the Forsaken killed by shadowspawn in the blight? Probably not, but that would be funny if we did.

Draghkar, Darkhounds, Gray Men and the Gholam obey the chosen as well. I think it's only defective shadowspawn like the worms and regular creatures that are just mutated by the blight that won't obey them.
When the Wolf King carries the hammer, thus are the final days known. When the fox marries the raven, and the trumpets of battle are blown.

Theoretically they only get killed off in odd numbered books, right?

That would be a great twist--- Elza could end up saving Rand from his own ability to kill a woman
